The Invisible Face of the Beloved from Tajikistan, Iran and Lebanon with Abduvali Abdurashidov, Sirojiddin Juraev, Ozoda Ashurova, Pasha Hanjani, Mohammad Motamedi, Jasser Haj Youssef will perform a singing musical night at Prince Taz Palace, April 27.

This 90-minute concert programme brings together six adventurous musicians from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Tunisia who reassemble diverse expressions of a shared musical heritage in contemporary forms. Conceived and produced by the Aga Khan Music Initiative, the programme exemplifies the Music Initiative’s mission to strengthen links between artistic communities in Central Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. Concert programmes feature various combinations of vocal and instrumental music performed by duos, trios, and quartets as well as pieces by the full ensemble.
