To create our distinctive Ramadan theme we have teamed up with Eklego Design, to create the ultimate festive Ramadan setting for Sequoia. Eklego are inspired by various styles, sources and cultures that they combine to produce exceptional designs. The main point of inspiration is the “Tannoura”, its colourful and round form reflects the circular layout of Sequoia. Curtains will be draped all around the space, reflecting the swirl in the motion of the “Tannoura”. The bright and festive colour theme is also a reflection of the back alleys of Cairo decorated with triangular cut-outs and bright lanterns. Inspired by the concept, leading fashion designer Amina K. will design our team’s uniforms using her famous prints, fabrics and fresh colors to enhance the theme while DJ AKM produces live mixes of a rare collection of Andaluc?a tunes, mixing between both Arabic and Spanish music to complement the experience.
